csurfside....in the description of that theme I mentioned it was my first release of an OTS2 version...and there could likely be bugs....
....and there were.
This is caused by my setup getting away with them because it is not exactly identical with others'.
Rather than upload a fix immediately, I've been 'tweaking' the whole thing as odd behaviour still occurred with some of the animations....and I wanted to get it all looking 'better'.
Anyway.....I 'should' have the revised animal up today....

The line to add into the theme.rc can go anywhere in the meantime....
There you go.....revised theme is up....'should' be bug-free....
The shortcuts point to your standard 'evars' as you will have configured them in your 'evar.rc'.
They are listed as '$FileManager$', '$GFXEditor$', etc....so whether you use Photoshop or PSP the theme will work because you preset these variables.
If need be, if you want to 'hard-code' the proggies in the theme.rc.....look for the evar entry eg $FileManager$ and replace it with the full path to the proggy of your choice...."C:\Program Files\VCOM\Pdexplo.exe" will get you Powerdesk 6 for example. [assuming you have it]...
Nijikon Fetchi has a top bar, and animated shortcuts [layercuts] on either side so the max desktop area is pre-limited to keep them visible....a standard LS feature.
If you want the whole screen edit theme.rc.....by placing a ''[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here]" [without quotes] before each line of the relevant section.
thus...
[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here] SetDesktopArea[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here] SDATop 30[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here] SDALeft 30[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here] SDARight -30
or...
SetDesktopAreaSDATop 0SDALeft 0SDARight 0
[semicolon....the dot-comma that won't show here] SetDesktopAreaSDATop 30SDALeft 30SDARight -30
Pays with LiteSTEP [and any other shell] to do a lot of 'RTFM' to fully understand the how, what, and why of its/their configuration/s....
No...they have a closed state animation....if they disappear completely it'll be due to a module problem, ie....memory leak, etc.
The assumption is that you are reasonably up to date with the LS version.....you 'should' be using RC3....June 2004....
